Caroline qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College in 1998. Caroline decided to open My Pets Vets in order to provide the high standards of quality and care every pet and their owner deserves, and she is proud to have had the opportunity to do so with her best friend and husband Lloyd Davies.

Caroline has a strong interest in all aspects of veterinary care especially in dermatology, rabbit medicine and surgery, acupuncture, and chronic pain management in our pets. Caroline is also a clinical director.

Lloyd is a farmer’s son and has always had a strong interest in working with animals, and has wanted to be a vet since the age of 3. Lloyd qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1998, where he met Caroline on the first Friday of the first week of the five year course.

Lloyd has a strong interest in all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, and especially enjoys dermatology, as well as soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Lloyd is currently one of our night vets alongside being a clinical director.

Richard qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2010 from The University of Liverpool. Rick has been a part of the My Pets Vets team since the start of 2015. Rick enjoys all aspects of first opinion and emergency medicine, but has developed a keen interest in surgery and has recently been expanding his orthopaedic surgery skills. Rick also has a degree in Veterinary pathology, so I can often be found looking at samples under the microscope.

Having worked for 14 years in the civil service I welcomed the opportunity of a career change and joined Caroline and Lloyd as practice manager of My Pets Vets in 2016.

It’s been a steep but enjoyable learning curve and I have been able to complete my certificate in veterinary practice management and administration whilst at the practice.

When not at work I relax by running marathons or walking my two dogs Jackson and Luther.
