Caroline Purnell BVetMed MRCVS – Senior Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1998 and then spent 2 ½ years working in mixed animal practice in Pontefract before choosing to move across the Pennines to Lancashire and joining PetMedics in 2001, where I worked in all their practices and spent many years based at the emergency care centre.

I decided to open my own practice in order to provide the high standards of quality and care every pet and their owner deserves, and am proud to have had the opportunity to do so with my best friend and husband Lloyd Davies.

I have a strong interest in all aspects of veterinary care especially in dermatology, rabbit medicine and surgery, acupuncture, and chronic pain management in our pets.

I live with my husband, Lloyd Davies; son, Lewys; and our every expanding pet family (4 cats - Freddie, Bicky, Shift and Striper; dog Archie, and newly acquired tropical fish). Although we have no rabbits at the present time, Kay Waugh from Bunny Hop Rescue is trying hard to rectify the situation!
